God has fulfilled many dreams for Pastor David Elms in his time here in Fort Lauderdale.  He is a man who has built his life around the idea that the family altar is the hub of the spiritual universe.  Rev. David Elms has been married to his beautifully gifted wife, Melanie, for 22 years and they have 4 amazing children.

God continues to fulfill our pastor’s dreams to make an eternally positive impact on South Florida and be a contributing factor in the Kingdom of God.  He has served in elected offices as Florida district youth president, Florida Media Missions director, and he presently serves as the executive presbyter for the southeastern zone of the United States in the UPCI.  He is a sought after speaker at conferences and state camps in addition to being a great husband, father, and friend.

Continuing education is a passion of Rev. Elms.  After graduating from Garinger high school in Charlotte, NC (1985) he attended North Carolina State University in hopes of becoming an engineer, initially resisting the call of God for ministry.  He transitioned to Bible college, surrendering to the call, and graduated from Jackson College of Ministries.  Pastor Elms is presently enrolled in graduate school at the Assembly of God Theological Seminary.
